Autumn Days

What a year it has been! For our inaugural year on the buzzing Brighton restaurant scene, we have gained recognition from Brighton’s Best Restaurants by being named in their Top 20, made it into The Michelin Guide, being awarded The Michelin Plate, came runner up in The Brighton and Hove Food and Drink Awards in the Best Newcomer category, and appeared on Sea Cities, a BBC programme about Brighton’s seafront.

Over the past year we have been privileged to collaborate with Masterchef winner, Kenny Tutt, who put on an amazing meal at the restaurant with Michael, as well as our own Chef Alma cooking up a fantastic Mexican feast. We also played host to the Brighton and Hove Food and Drink Festival’s Food Lab, where eight of Brighton and Hove’s best chefs collaborated with eight producers to create an incredible eight-course meal, with a further eight drinks producers providing the drinks flight.

This summer was incredible! Sitting on the terrace looking out to the seafront: parkour on the art installation, giant bubble blowing, and Punch and Judy shows – there was always something going on. Gone are the days of the old, weathered paddling pool to make way for new-look seafront. During the summer we have gained popularity with our set menu offering two coursed for £15 or three for £20 utilising local produce & foragers to create an affordable lunchtime menu available to all.

Heading into winter we have welcomed our new Head Chef, Liam Brennan, on board who is certainly one of the most creative, enthusiastic (and talkative) chefs we have ever worked with.

We are also moving to a new more winter orientated cocktail & wine menu which launched early November, featuring Our Egg and Bacon cocktail, featured in Diffords Guide and an awesome wine selection supplied by Hallgarten Novum.
